VENUE- AL SAJ INTRNATIONAL CONVENTION CENTER , KAZHAKOOTTAM, THIRUVANANTHAPURAM

Workshop Facilitators: Dr Sucheta Dandekar and Dr Thomas Chacko

Overview

In this era of Evidence Based Medicine, it is important for all health care professionals to do research that addresses a gap in the contemporary knowledge in the discipline’s “state of the art” so that it contributes to new knowledge. This new knowledge will get published if it is valued by peers in the field through the peer review process. The workshop is participatory & “hands-on” and builds on participant’s existing prior experience and expertise in the discipline to take them through a systematic and scholarly process so that this awareness of this scholarly process will lead to higher acceptance rates for your manuscript publication / Grant application / recognition as a good peer reviewer who gives constructive feedback to the author.

Who will benefit from attending this Workshop?

• Early career researchers who want to plan a new research work, or get their existing research work published even if it was rejected (and you got dejected by it)! • Senior Faculty who want to mentor junior colleagues to help get their work published

• Those who are interested in becoming better as Peer Reviewer/ Journal Editor
